Ayuhsmann Khurrana starrer An Action Hero passed by CBFC with a U/A certificate

For the unversed, An Action Hero is an upcoming film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and critically-acclaimed actor Jaideep Ahlawat. Directed by Anirudh Iyer, the film is produced under the banner of T-Series and Color Yellow Productions, owned by Bhushan Kumar and Anand L Rai, respectively. Interestingly, Bollywood Hungama had earlier reported about Akshay Kumar’s cameo in the film.

A source had informed us, “The film is titled An Action Hero - how can one make a film with that title without the presence of Hindi Cinema's Original Action Hero - Akshay Kumar. Akshay has already shot for an important appearance in the film, which brings about a change in Ayushmann's character and perspective.” The source further added, “It took him merely a few hours in a day to wrap up the part. The entire crew was surprised with his efficiency.”

Apart from Akshay Kumar’s cameo, Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora’s dance numbers, ‘Jehda Nasha’ and ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’, respectively, will also be the highlights of the film. Days after unveiling the trailer, Khurrana told PTI, “It is a genre breaker for me. It is different from my staple genre of social comedy and there is no message in it. There is pure thrill. It is a roller coaster ride.”

Nora Fatehi turns up the heat with Marjaavaan's new song Ek Toh Kum Zindagani!

Nora Fatehi turns up the heat with Marjaavaan's new song Ek Toh Kum Zindagani! Nora Fatehi's sizzling dance moves in chartbusters including 'Dilbar' ( Satyameva Jayate ) and 'Saki Saki' ( Batla House ) among others has made her a household name in a short span of time. The gorgeous actress, who wants to create a niche for herself as a talented actress, has been focusing more on performance-oriented roles, like last seen in Batla House starring John Abraham. Interestingly, one of the major reasons why Nora agreed to do the song 'Ek Toh Kum Zindagani' in Marjaavaan without charging any money is because she feels obliged to filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and producer Bhushan Kumar who offered her the song 'Dilbar' in Satyameva Jayate, considered to be a turning point in her career. Nora has always been grateful and humbled by the opportunity Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar have given her with both 'Dilbar' and 'Saki Saki' and s...

The epic filmmaker has therefore zeroed in on his Gangubai Kathiawadi heroine Alia Bhatt opposite Ranveer in his next director  Baiju Bawra. “The heroine for  Baiju Bawra is not final. It’s likely to be Alia Bhatt. She read the script and offered to do the film for free .Deepika was also keen to do  Gangubai Kathiawadi . But at that point of time, Bhansali wanted Alia only. Now Deepika has her heart set on Baiju Bawra . She insists only she can play the role Meena Kumari played in the original,” a source very close to the projects informs us. Bhansali, though impressed by Deepika’s determination, is still in favour of casting Alia, But what if Deepika gives her husband an u...
