Kate Winslet and HBO are reteaming for another project titled Trust , a limited series based on Hernan Diaz's best-selling novel. As shared by The Hollywood Reporter, Diaz’s novel unfolds using four different voices and in four genres. The HBO project will follow a wealthy financier who reads a novel based on his life and is upset with how he and his wife are portrayed. He hires a secretary to ghostwrite a memoir in hopes of setting the record straight. She, however, becomes aware that he’s trying to rewrite history, and his wife’s place in it. In addition to starring, Kate Winslet will also executive produce the feature alongside Diaz. Moreover, the series will be the third collaboration between Winslet and HBO. Kelly, who was convicted last year in sex trafficking case after several survivors came forward with stories of abuse, was sentenced to 30 years in prison in a New York court on Wednesday. According to Variety, the 55-year-old R&B singer was convicted of racketeering and eight counts of violating the Mann Act, which prohibits transporting people across state lines for prostitution. He has been in jail since July of 2019; 45 witnesses testified for the government. He still faces child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in Chicago, as well as charges in state courts in Illinois and Minnesota. Academy Award winner Russell Crowe is all set to star in Julius Avery’s upcoming supernatural thriller The Pope’s Exorcist for Screen Gems. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Crowe will portray real-life figure Father Gabriele Amorth, a priest who acted as chief exorcist of the Vatican and who performed more than 100,000 exorcisms in his lifetime.
