Tom Parker, member of British-Irish band The Wanted, has died at the age of 33 after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The band announced that Parker died Wednesday, “surrounded by his family and his band mates.” As BBC reports, the singer announced in October 2020 that he had an inoperable tumour and underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. “Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can't imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence,” Parker's wife Kelsey Hardwick wrote on Instagram. Bruce Willis, the star of the Die Hard franchise, will reportedly retire from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia, as revealed by his family on social media. On Wednesday, the 67-year-old actor's family shared the news on Instagram, writing, "To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him." Aphasia is a disorder most commonly caused by a stroke that can also stem from head trauma or, in rare cases, from neurological disease, said Brenda Rapp, a professor of cognitive science at Johns Hopkins University. Netflix recently announced the cast lineup of the upcoming Bridgerton spinoff limited series centered around Young Queen Charlotte. India Amarteifio is on board to play the young queen in the upcoming series that also includes Game of Thrones alums. The police in Los Angeles visited actor Will Smith's home on Tuesday after receiving a call about a drone sighting over their mansion.
