The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off on Sunday, August 30. It was different from previous years. Adhering to social distancing guidelines, the stages were set at different locations in New York City for safety purposes.  Lady Gaga took home Artist Of The Year, Best Collaboration, Song Of The Year. She became the first-ever recipient of the TRICON Award. She performed a medley of her songs from 'Chromatica' including 'Rain On Me' featuring Ariana Grande.

Lady Gaga made her presence with her larger-than-life outfits for her performances, red carpet, and stage appearances. One thing, she had common in all of the looks were her customized masks. Sending out a message to safe in this pandemic situation, she matched her outfits with face shields and masks.
