Angrezi Medium: Homi Adajania says Kareena Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia’s are a reflection to Irrfan and Radhika’s characters

Filmmaker Homi Adajania's upcoming film Angrezi Medium is the story about a father whose daughter aspires to study abroad with Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan in the lead. However, there is also a mother-daughter track essayed by Dimple Kapadia and Kareena Kapoor which is an equally important track in the film.

Angrezi Medium: Homi Adajania says Kareena Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia’s are a reflection to Irrfan and Radhika’s characters

Talking about Dimple Kapadia to a tabloid, Homi said that he has earned the senior actress's blind trust by ensuring that she is always in character and never strikes a false note on the screen.

Dimple Kapadia has been a part of every film made by Homi Adajania from Being Cyrus to Finding Fanny to Cocktail and now Angrezi medium. To this, the director said that he casts her out of the fear of getting beaten up if he did otherwise. He further said that it was producer Dinesh Vijan' idea to get Kareena to play the daughter, Naina.

Homi revealed that the narrative takes a turn with Kareena's entry. The film shows the growing generation gap between Irrfan and Radhika's characters where the latter is always complaining about how her father does not understand her. Homi said that Kareena and DImple's character is a reflection of what could happen to them.

Talking further about the cast he said that stars usually bring their egos on the set but in this film, there was no time for that and he is happy about that. The filmmaker found it to be a liberating experience to be like this with one another without any negativity.

Angrezi Medium is slated to hit the theatres on March 20.

Nora Fatehi turns up the heat with Marjaavaan's new song Ek Toh Kum Zindagani! Nora Fatehi's sizzling dance moves in chartbusters including 'Dilbar' ( Satyameva Jayate ) and 'Saki Saki' ( Batla House ) among others has made her a household name in a short span of time. The gorgeous actress, who wants to create a niche for herself as a talented actress, has been focusing more on performance-oriented roles, like last seen in Batla House starring John Abraham. Interestingly, one of the major reasons why Nora agreed to do the song 'Ek Toh Kum Zindagani' in Marjaavaan without charging any money is because she feels obliged to filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and producer Bhushan Kumar who offered her the song 'Dilbar' in Satyameva Jayate, considered to be a turning point in her career. Nora has always been grateful and humbled by the opportunity Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar have given her with both 'Dilbar' and 'Saki Saki' and s...

Recently, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama , Housefull 4 actor Pooja Hegde spoke about racial mentality. Pooja Hegde was the second runner-up at the Miss Universe India contest in the year 2010. The actress while weighing in on her opinion on the fairness obsession said, “The grass is always greener on the other side, that’s the only logic. When I go abroad people tell me they love my skin tone and like how it is so golden. When you travel around the world the acceptance level will increase about how you look. Whether it is how much you weigh, because we are so conscious about our body. I go abroad and I see bigger women in bikini, so casual and comfortable being who they are and that's what is acceptable there. Even when you watch them, you will not fee...
